DPT is New & Improved for 2012!

The Dakota Poker Tour enhances the local charitable poker tournament scene. Sponsored tournaments award points and at the end of the season the top 100 players qualify for a championship free tournament with the overall winner earning a World Series of Poker seat!

Here's how it works:

FMPoker.com and FPN Gaming have partnered with local charities to create a series of tournaments with great structures where not only can players win big money in each individual tournament, but players will accumulate points toward the year-end freeroll where they have a free shot at the WSOP package.  All players receive 50 points just for buying in, the top 20% receive "bonus" points depending on their finish and the total number of players in that particular tournament.  In January or February of 2013 the Championship Freeroll will pit the top 100 players in points against each other to compete for the $1500 WSOP package as well as over $1000 in additional prizes!

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2012?

To keep the points race interesting throughout the year and to benefit players that have made it to the top of the leaderboard we are making some changes to the Championship Freeroll for the 2012 season.  The overall points leader will not only get the "Player of the Year" trophy but they will also get a 3x chip stack at the Championship Freeroll.  Second through Tenth place finishers in the points will receive a 2x chip stack while 11th-100th will get a 1x chip stack.  The runner-up in the Championship Freeroll will get a package valued at up to $900 as they will get entry into THREE Dakota Poker Tour events of their choice as we continue to grow!
